Her Story: Canadian Women Scientists is a film series dedicated to sharing the stories of Canadian women scientists. Facilitated by Curiosity Collider, local filmmakers and Canadian women scientists collaborate to create 5-6 minute videos; for each film in the series, a scientist tells her own story, interwoven with the story of an inspiring Canadian women scientist who came before her in her field of study.
With films by:
* Michael Markowsky featuring Jade Shiller (collab scientist) and Kathleen Conlan [marine biology/ocreanography]
* Leslie Kennah featuring Kimberly Girling (collab scientist) and Brenda Milner [neuroscience]
* Armin Mortazavi featuring Samantha Baglot (collab scientist) and Irene Uchida [genetics]
* Lucas Kavanagh and Jesse Lupini, featuring Jessica Pilarczyk (collab scientist) and Jeanne Percival [earth sciences]
This screening will be followed by a talkback with the production team, including the collaborating filmmakers and scientists.
