DESCRIPTION:BioConnect BC (formerly D.R.I.N.K.S. – Discussions Relevant to Inspiring New Knowledge and Science) social is held monthly at Mahoneys on Stamps Landing (Old Monk Mcqueens on False Creek at 601 Stamps Landing). \nThe purpose (if you need an excuse to stay a little later!) is to bring together faculty\, clinicians\, residents\, trainees\, staff\, entrepreneurs\, bio/pharm staff/execs/veterans\, lawyers\, VCs\, and others with common interests in biomedical/translational research & discovery/commercialization once a month to casually interact and meet new people over a beverage and/or appie. It’s also becoming a great way for people that have just moved to Vancouver to meet others in the industry.
