He focuses primarily on the preparation and prosecution of patent and industrial design applications. He also advises on infringement and validity issues relating to intellectual property and on IP portfolio management issues. \nWith a technical background in biochemistry and chemical engineering\, Santosh has expertise in various technologies including biotechnology\, pharmaceutical and chemical subject matters\, and medical devices. \nSantosh has managed the prosecution of patent and industrial design applications before many intellectual property offices throughout the world and has represented clients of various sizes\, including private enterprises and public institutions. \nHe is a fellow of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA)\, the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and sits on various committees of these organizations. He chairs the IP Office Practice and Procedures Committee of AIPPI\, is on council of AIPPI-Canada\, and is the vice-chair of the Canadian Practice Committee of IPO.
