DESCRIPTION:It will take place on Thursday\, September 17\, 2020\, organized by The University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the NanoMedicines Innovation Network (NMIN)\, a national Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE). \nDue to COVID-19\, this year’s symposium will be delivered for the first time as an online event. \nHowever\, this new format will not affect Vancouver Nanomedicine Day’s reputation for high quality speakers and leading-edge content. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKEYNOTE \nWe are proud to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Robert Langer\, ScD\, from the MIT Department of Chemical Engineering – an icon among nanomedicine innovators. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will also have a very timely session on COVID-19 treatments using nanomedicine approaches\, with speakers from Canadian nanotechnology companies involved in developing COVID-19 therapeutics. \nIn addition\, novel science from the Canadian nanomedicine field will be highlighted. Last but not least\, an online poster session with cash prizes will round out the day. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease save the date – September 17\, 2020 – for this exciting one-day online symposium.
