Busting Stereotypes

Join us in creating a 3D printed sculpture to celebrate diversity in science! This event is part of the nation-wide science celebration, “Science Odyssey“. Leading up to the event you can register to print your own part of the sculpture. On May 20th in False Creek, Vancouver we will assemble all the parts into one great sculpture during a public celebration event.
The female Canadian scientist that we have chosen for this project is the outstanding Dr. Jennifer Gardy, a Canada Research Chair, tuberculosis researcher and active science communicator (you may have seen her on Nature of Things).
