Genome British Columbia is excited to invite you to the first Genomics and Society Symposium. Three panels will explore emerging topics across the social and biological sciences through moderated discussions and Q&A with the audience. Specifically, the event will cover opportunities and challenges in the areas of food security and vertical farming, genetic counseling, and environmental DNA. Furthermore, Genome BC held two policy foresight workshops in the fall covering the same topics and the results will be shared and discussed in the event. What is the future of food, genetic counselling, and eDNA? Which are some of the future scenarios in those areas and which are the policy options moving forward? How can BC benefit the most from these technologies? Join us for an event designed to ignite your curiosity and provide networking opportunities.
