MSL EDI Committee Workshop Series: Workshop 2 – Building Queer and Trans Inclusive Spaces

The MSL Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee is happy to announce the second workshop of our six-part EDI workshop series! This workshop will be held in MSL 101 on the following dates:
- Thursday June 29, 2:30-4:30 pm
- Tuesday July 25,10 am-12 pm
All trainees, staff and faculty are welcome. Snacks will be provided. ☕🍩
Over the course of this workshop, we will cover the basics to building an inclusive environment for sexual and gender diverse individuals. We will cover terminology to better understand and familiarize ourselves with how some may identify; look at current and historical challenges and barriers; and discuss scenarios and solutions that Queer and Trans people often face. This workshop will be facilitated by the MSL EDI Workshop committee.

Individual workshop participants will receive a certificate of completion if they attend 4 of the 6 workshops in the series. Each MSL lab can receive a certificate of completion if all members (including faculty members) attend 3 of the 6 workshops.
