One STEMinist Book at a Time: Building a Science Enthusiast Community
October 28, 2020, 2020
Event Navigation

The Vancouver STEMMinist Book Club is in it’s second year. Analise started the local group after finding the book club on twitter, and with valuable sponsorship from SCWIST. From in person to zoom, the group hasn’t skipped a beat, meeting every two months. The beauty of the group is it’s ability to bringing together science enthusiasts of all walks of life, and now corners of the continent. Often we are found within our own work/friend bubbles, and disciplinary bubbles, but science is all interconnected with many voices, and ways of knowing and doing. Come hear about key lessons learned from each book, plans for the future, and for a fun chat about science and books!
