SFU Café Scientifique
Scientists Caroline Colijn, Paul Tupper, and Jessica Stockdale from SFU and the MAGPIE Research Group will speak on COVID data, models, and challenges. Their group works on forecasting COVID cases, estimating how well distancing measures are working, and how much change we need to make to get cases back in decline. This Cafe gives audiences a look at their research around transmission in schools and facilities, unpacking the information buried in virus genomes, and finding ways to navigate and control the pandemic in BC and beyond.
