Stem cells are widely studied due to their promise to revolutionize medicine and better the lives of patients suffering from complex diseases. StemCellTalks is a one-day conference for high school students. This event will provide students with the opportunity to interact with and learn from leading experts in the field of stem cells.

Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of stem cell biology and understand how we engineer these cells to treat humans. Students will also appreciate the complexities of the field and how incorporating ethical, legal, and social implications can strengthen stem cell science and its application. A panel discussion will also expose students to different career opportunities at the forefront of stem cell research.

Throughout the day, immersive and interactive activities will enable students to apply their newly acquired knowledge, think critically, and participate in experiential learning.
