The Bernhard Cinader Award, named in honor of its first recipient in 1987, recognizes individuals who not only demonstrate excellence in research and mentorship but also contribute an additional dimension, whether it be in teaching, art, outreach, or any field where the researcher distinguishes themselves. Dr. Takei’s contributions will be honored at the upcoming CSI meeting.
