Position Summary

The Scientific Product Marketing Specialist champions the coordination, and implementation of the go-to market strategies for each instrument in our platform. The individual sets specific objectives toward developing a market strategy that will drive profitability, brand consistency, and increase overall market growth.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including SFDC, Marketo, and intranet sites.
  • Coordinate with vendors/internal team members to make relevant and outstanding marketing videos.
  • Develop and coordinate product focused digital content in the most strategic way to maximize return on investments.
  • Build effective strategies and execute product launch/marketing campaigns in co-ordination with the product manager.
  • Provide inputs to the commercial leadership team to support the development of key messaging and sales tools in support of market segments.
  • Develop collateral to support the execution of market strategy and sales objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • M.S. in a life sciences, material sciences and/or chemical engineering
    1-2 years’ experience in the Life Science marketing department for a high growth, fast paced organization.
  • Strong writing and 1-2 years in the Life Science marketing department is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Experience working with media or scientific journals.
  • Knowledge of brand planning, budgeting, business analysis, advertising, promotions merchandising, research and analysis.
  • Self-starting with solid follow-through and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • A positive outlook and resilience towards challenging priorities.
