On March 31st, ten UBC graduate students took the virtual stage to see who could best summarize years of research in only three minutes. We learned about graduate work that spanned Faculties and research fields—from the discovery of novel antimicrobial fabrics that could help reduce the rate of infections in hospitals to the exploration of new modes of active travel in Vancouver. After long and thoughtful judges’ deliberation, the top 3 presenters were: Tebogo T. Leepile, PhD in Integrated Studies in Land & Food Systems, Jennifer Ferris, PhD in Rehabilitation Science and Sarah Morris, PhD in Physics. Watch the top 10 videos at 3mt.grad.ubc.ca
