Drs. Katey Enfield, Miffy Hok Yan Cheng, and Samantha Pollard
Vancouver is March-ing towards success! This month, we saw researchers shining on the national stage. From Genome Canada to CIHR to the Canada Foundation for Innovation to the Terry Fox Research Institute, our researchers are bringing in funding from coast to cast. We are highlighting Dr. Katey Enfield from BC Cancer Research Institute, Dr. Miffy Hok Yan Cheng from UBC, and Dr. Samantha Pollard from SFU. These three researchers were awarded with 2026 Terry Fox New Investigator Awards for their work spanning immunotherapy, genetic testing, and nanomedicine.
